Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Grace Academy's website or services. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have obtained verifiable parental or guardian consent), and that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Use of the Platform
- You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You must not use the platform in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair its availability or accessibility.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its systems, or networks.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. User Accounts
- Registration: Accurate and complete information must be provided when creating an account. You agree to keep this information up to date.
- Account security: You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use.
- Account suspension: Grace Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
4. Placement Assessments
- Placement assessment sessions are booked through the student portal and assigned to an available academic consultant.
- Sessions are conducted via Google Meet. A link is generated automatically upon booking.
- Students are expected to join sessions on time. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in the session being marked as missed.
- Each student is entitled to one complimentary placement assessment. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
5. Payments & Refunds
- Payment: All fees are displayed in the applicable currency and are due in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment. Refunds are not issued for sessions that have already been attended or for missed sessions without 24-hour advance notice.
- Disputes: Payment disputes must be raised with us directly before initiating a chargeback. We commit to resolving genuine disputes within 10 business days.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Grace Academy platform — including course materials, assessments, videos, graphics, and text — is owned by or licensed to Grace Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.
7. Academic Consultant Obligations
Academic consultants (assessors) who operate on the platform agree to:
- Complete the required onboarding steps, including profile setup, schedule configuration, and Google Calendar integration.
- Attend all confirmed sessions on time and maintain a professional standard of conduct.
- Keep student information confidential and not share it outside the platform.
- Update their availability schedule with adequate notice when changes are required.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grace Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability in any matter related to our services is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar and Google Meet. These integrations are governed by the respective providers' terms of service and privacy policies. Grace Academy is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
- Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that our platform will be available at all times or free from errors.
- Learning outcomes vary by individual commitment, consistency, and prior knowledge.
11. Changes to Terms
Grace Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riyadh.
